Happy 100 Trail Challenge

Need accountability? Who doesn’t! The trails are calling!

Happy Cat Events is hosting a new virtual event series called the Happy 100 Trail Challenge. Hiking and running trails benefit the mind, spirit and body. Breathe in the fresh air and feel the soft ground underfoot! There will be a new cycle starting every 3 months:

SPRING: March/April May
SUMMER: June/July/August
FALL: Sept/October/November
WINTER: December/January/February

Details

It is up to you how you break up the 100 mile distance. You have 3 months to complete it and self-report your distance and time. When you register, you will be shipped a high-quality logo item*, commemorative bib and other goodies! Once you complete the distance you will receive a super cool wooden finisher medal. If you beat your PR (personal record) on a subsequent effort, you will get a special slate coaster PR award!

SPRING: Tri-blend T-shirt
SUMMER: High quality Tank top or T-shirt
FALL: Long Sleeved T-shirt
WINTER: Embroidered Beanie

Grab some friends and track your progress through the challenge! You will have a total finishing time and see how you stack up each cycle. You can run or hike or do a combo. Post your photos on the Happy 100 Facebook group page! I would love to see the beautiful trails in your area ??

As owner of Happy Cat Events, I am a certified running coach and have been helping athletes since 2006. I am happy to answer questions you might have or at least point you in a helpful direction during the challenge. Happy Cat Events is a labor of love for me. I put on 8 races a year on trails in Virginia. If you need help just ask!
